Eps 161 Billie and Pete

yesterday I saw janets "geoff and kate bits" part 21 and there are scenes from this epi.

in one of the scenes kates brings billie flowers and she (kate) looks like she would almost start to cry...
don`t you think this reaction was a bit too extreme?

I mean, she was jealous, that was obvious, and billie has a part of geoff which kate will never have and
they still mean something to each other, but all this belongs to the past. and after their conversation at the window I thought kate would calm down a bit but she was still so ... troubled...

what do you say?

I know what you mean. I don't understand that either. Kate seems almost afraid of Billie. Kates behaviour is kind of exaggerated. I never know why she behaves that way.
Maybe it's because Geoff didn't tell her the truth right away although it was obvious that he and Billie had a thing in the past. Maybe it was because of Billies behaviour. Kate didn't know what to expect from Billie. Suddenly there she was and that look when they are in the nomad and Geoff introduces Kate as his wife and then Billie behaves as if she isn't really bothered by the fact that Geoff is married.
I don't know. I think Kate should have known that she has nothing to worry about. But what can I say, we didn't write the stories

hmm, an interesting thought...

and by the way: why does she bring her flowers anyway? to wish her luck? but it looks like an apology to me...
and if there was one to bring flowers then billie to her... hmmm, strange...

Maybe Kate brings the flowers because it's more a gesture that she has accepted Billie as part of Geoffs part. It's this horoscope in the beginning of this epi. That's the key, I think. I don't remember the exact words of the horoscope but it's something about love doesn't mean ownership or something like that. And now Kate has to cope with the woman who has also an impact on Geoffs live. Maybe Kate thinks she should accept that and her instead of fighting against it. Because in the end she realised there is no sense in fighting against the past. That maybe also a scary thought and that's why she is on the verge of tears.
